2009-11 CHRISTMAS » 2009-11-04 AND IT BEGINS

first (of several) locations for the "North Pole"	interesting that this is one time where I do strive to be hyper-organized...	labeled bags of tiny streetlights	and a bag of a different kind to use on another display.... if only I was like this about everything!
			about half of the boxes are here in the house - most of them are empty - just waiting for space in the storage place (once I get the trees, ornaments, wreaths, etc. out!)	rough layout for the "real" eating places!
Monopoly - well at least the first try for a home! (before I bid [and won!] the elusive Bank&Trust building!)	location #2 for the North Pole !	yikes! the boxes are growing! truly a view to behold!	trying various combinations - what will look best? another few buildings maybe??	still not sure... maybe needs a little styrofoam!
	empty boxes are going back to storage - so there is room for our cleaning lady to work!!
		streetlighting and driveways yet to be installed!
drove to City Lights in San Diego and picked up some more D56 accessories	- of course, am still short one cable!	so it's off to another store (a little closer than San Diego!)
	adding the fencing and streetlights	SLOWLY decreasing!!	Merry Olde England and Monopoly waiting their turn for attention!	starting to lay out Restaurant Row !
started working on England. Old Royal Observatory, Windsor Castle and Kensington Palace	Globe Theatre, St. Martins-in-the-Field, Big Ben and the Tower	can see Ellis Island and the Brooklyn Bridge off in the distance!		Monopoly is waiting for a new transformer!
does this EVER end? boy, is it time for a haircut!! (actually, it's more time for a dye job - but ...)	now it's time for the FUn part - trying to get everything all powered up!	England is finished up - except a string of streetlights which broke...	cutting foam for the various building elevations	am short a few cables/transformers - good old e-Bay!
am now putting "holders" for items not yet arrived!	Lucy (the Margate	shorn and dyed!	added foam bases to everything - looks so much beter (thanks to Curt for the suggestion!)	"bookcase world" finished -- oops - just noticed some streetlights down!! does this ever end?

San Francisco, Las Vegas, Mt. Rushmore, Graceland (Memphis TN) and the Chicago Art Institute		get the camera out of my face!
			is there a surface without something on it? we think not!
